The Stratford Fire Department operates out of two strategically situated stations: Station 1 at 388 Erie Street and Station 2 at 44 McCarthy Road.
The Fire Department has 40 full-time firefighters on four platoons supported by 10 staff members.

To provide a range of programs to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the City of Stratford from the adverse effects of fires, sudden medical emergencies, or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature.
