The Board of Park Management is responsible for setting policy to maintain, improve and expand the City's existing designated parkland and consider the overall municipal beautification of parks and to co-operate with future expansion and development of parks. The Board strives to be efficient, economical and liaise with all levels of government and the public.
The term of appointment for the Board of Park Management is concurrent with Council. The current term expires November 2022. From time to time, there may be mid-term vacancies. The City will advertise for applications to fill mid-term vacancies as necessary. Application forms can be found on the Advisory Committee page.
